Use of the site

The site is provided free of charge for general information. You may use it for your own lawful, informational and business purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it by automated means at a scale that burdens it, or use it in breach of applicable law.

No legal advice

The site explains the Cyber Resilience Act in plain language and offers tools to help you understand it. It does not constitute legal advice and is no substitute for professional advice on your specific situation. The authoritative source is the official text of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 as published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The tools

The Fast Check, classification finder, compliance matrix, cost calculator, support-period planner, Declaration-of-Conformity generator and related features are provided as practical aids. Their outputs are indicative estimates and orientation only; they depend on the information you enter and on assumptions that may not match your circumstances. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete or sufficient for compliance, and you remain solely responsible for your own compliance decisions.

You may view and print pages for your own internal use, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial parts of the site, or use its branding, without our permission.

The text of the Cyber Resilience Act and the EU Annexes reproduced on the site is © European Union and is reproduced for information; the only authentic version is that published in the Official Journal.
