Find your product class
The Fast Check tells you whether the CRA applies; this pins down your class. Tick every category below that describes your product's core functionality; the result is the highest class that applies, which sets your conformity route.
Classification is based on what the product is for, not on every capability it happens to include. Article 7(1) makes a product "important" only where it has the core functionality of a listed category. A device that includes identity management, a browser or a VPN as one feature is not an "important" product if that is not its core purpose. Tick a category below only if it is central to what the product does. Art. 7

Annex IV · may require EU certificationIndicative only, based on Annexes III and IV of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 and the technical descriptions in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2392. Classification follows the product's core functionality, not its ancillary features; the Commission guidance explains the test. This does not constitute legal advice.
